Fish Creek Public Beach

Fish Creek Public Beach, within easy walking distance of downtown, is a summer favorite. It has sand and grassy areas, and an expanded shoreline for swimming or splashing in the refreshing waters. The amount of sand beach is influenced by water levels. Please, no pets on beach.

Sunset Beach Park

Sunset Beach Park is a superb spot for viewing postcard-worthy sunsets over Green Bay. Explore one of the many eateries in downtown Fish Creek before leisurely making your way to the wooded path leading to the park’s lawn area and stone fence which serves as seating.

Fish Creek Park is a 27-acre, wooded area with the actual Fish Creek, meandering through it. The marked Peninsula Players and Butterfly Loop recreational walking trails await you. Clark Park

Clark Park is a charming park adjacent to Fish Creek Town Dock. Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront’s walkway or enjoy the spectacle of boats gliding in and out of the harbor from one of the many park benches. Public restrooms are available across the street at the back of the Old Town Hall.

Peninsula State Park – Eagle Lighthouse

Built in 1868, Eagle Lighthouse guided ships traveling through Strawberry Channel as they journeyed to Fish Creek Harbor. Lightkeepers operated this lighthouse until 1926 when automation occurred. The Door County Historical Society offers guided tours illustrating the responsibilities and challenges the lightkeepers faced to keep the beacon shining.

Peninsula State Park – Nicolet Beach

Nicolet Beach is a sand beach perfect for relaxing and enjoying the water views. Want more activity? Look for the playground, paddle sport rentals, and sand volleyball courts. Food and beverage concessions are available.

Peninsula State Park – Sven’s Bluff Overlook

Sven’s Bluff Overlook, situated atop of a Niagara Escarpment Bluff, offers extraordinary views of Green Bay and its coastline. One of the most visited and photographed places in Door County, the overlook is accessible to hikers and bicyclists using the Skyline Trail. If traveling by car, parking is available nearby on Skyline Road.
