Whitefish Dunes State Park

Whitefish Dunes State Park is a day-use park with a swim beach and trails but no camping. It is also home to the largest collection of sand dunes in Wisconsin including the state’s highest – “Old Baldy”. Whitefish Dunes is also steeped in human history. Archaeological digs unearthed evidence that prehistoric peoples inhabited this area at different times during the 3,000 years. A village site near the nature center has been recreated to show how they lived.

A Wisconsin State Park vehicle admission sticker is required on all motor vehicles stopping in state parks and trail areas.
