Whitefish Dunes State Park – Hiking and Biking

Whitefish Dunes offers 14 miles of hiking trails. Dogs are welcome on hiking trails provided they are leashed and under owner control. The Red Trail takes hikers to “Old Baldy”, the tallest dune in Wisconsin while the Black Trail provides free pedestrian access to Cave Point County Park. The Brachiopod Interpretive Trail explains the geology and ecology of the area and offers gorgeous views of Whitefish Bay. Whitefish Dunes grooms 11 miles of their trails for winter cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

Biking is allowed on the Red Trail and segments of the black and green trails.
