North Bay-Mud Lake Preserve

The North Bay-Mud Lake Preserve, with 1300 acres of wetlands and Boreal forests, is an adventure in Door County’s natural side. Follow the Birch Road trailhead to a floating metal boardwalk/pier lined with chair rails to a viewing platform overlooking North Bay. This pier provides visitors of all abilities the experience of being in wooded wetlands and observing exceptional water and wildlife vistas. Please, not pets. No facilities.
