Newport State Park has approximately 30 miles of hiking and biking trails. The 7-mile Europe Bay Hiking & Biking Trail passes by rocky outcroppings and offers panoramic views of Lake Michigan and Death’s Door Strait. The 1.2 Fern/Europe Bay Loop is a wide, flat trail for people of all abilities and features a wetland fern grotto. Along this trail you’ll find benches and interpretive signs. For magnificent water views, hike Lynd Point Trail which hugs the rocky shorelines of Lake Michigan, Lynd Point and Newport Bay.
