The Upland Section of Mud Lake is ideal for water and upland bird viewing in a serene setting. Access to the 0.5 mile hiking trail is from the parking lot off BirchRoad. The trail crosses wetlands and partially wooded areas adjacent to creek containing beaver dams. Uplands is a popular place for deer hunting in the fall. Bug Spray and appropriate footwear/clothing are highly recommended. No facilities.
